What is a Book?

A book is great but change shouldn’t be frowned upon.  I think a book has the traits of a book are out of date boring. If I had to compare it with something I would say a rock something that doesn’t do anything and is really old. I believe that E readers are the future of reading and if you don’t see it you must be blind. I’m not saying books are bad but some people don’t realize that change always happens it might be hard to accept, but it doesn’t mean you should try to accept it. I agree with Victor LaValle I think books are great but just because something new has come it shouldn’t be looked as bad. Honestly I think E books are better. There much cheaper, you get the same thing and with an E reader you can do more things. Also with the E reader it is much more environmentally friendly. I think that an I-pad or E reader is different it physically isn’t there but in some ways are better. A book has some qualities that you can never get from kindle or I pad but at the same time you’re getting a better deal for your dollar a new book is somewhere between 9-20 dollars and a I pad is about 400. An E reader books are much cheaper. If you are an avid reader you will spend much less money on books with it and you can do more things with an I pad than a book you can install games or movies and entertain others. Once you’ve finished a book there is no purpose for it. I really think that a book isn’t magical it doesn’t change when it becomes a E book as long as the story doesn’t change it shouldn’t have a different kind of feeling. I don’t like Nancy’s feeling about books, I mean books are great but if we think about the future we can’t stop change. Change is what makes this world great, and I think it may be time for us to evolve from books so we can save trees and money in the long run.
